Before he argued cases, Cyril flew jets. A graduate of St. Mary's High School in Independence, he earned a degree in commercial aviation at the University of North Dakota, held Commercial and Flight Instructor certificates, flew Cessna Citations as a corporate pilot, and ferried aircraft across North America.
The same discipline brought him home to the law. After earning his J.D. at UMKC, Cyril opened a boutique practice in Eastern Jackson County focused on criminal defense — and grew it, client by client, into a firm that has recovered millions in damages for the injured.
Raised in this community, Cyril runs the firm on the values it taught him: hard work, honesty, and commitment. Whatever the complexity of the case, clients get communication and compassion first.
